The regular season encounter saw the Rockets stage a gritty comeback to force the extra period, despite trailing 34-35 at halftime.
Bay High School's standout performances came from Ryan Miller, who scored 21 points, followed by Collin Melvin with 18 points, and Ethan George contributing 11 points. Despite their efforts, the Rockets could not secure a victory. A key moment of the game was Bay's defensive resilience, successfully thwarting three shot attempts by Kenston to secure a win, only to push the game into overtime.
Reflecting on the game, junior Max Cockburn expressed the team's determination, saying, "we battled, we fought all night, we gotta lock in and learn from it and stick together as a team. Conference play starts Friday."
