Bay High School Rockets Secure Convincing Victory Over Normandy Invaders in Varsity Football

The Bay High School Rockets Varsity football team clinched a resounding 26-0 win against the Normandy Invaders on a cool night at Byers Field on September 12, 2025. This regular season encounter saw the Rockets maintaining a strong defensive performance alongside an effective offensive strategy, leading to a shutout victory and enhancing their season record to 3-1. The first half of the game ended with the Rockets leading 13-0, setting the pace for what would be a dominant performance. Key contributors in the game included Charlie Rodgers, Rocco Ereditario, and Ethan George. Rodgers ran into the endzone for one rushing touchdown while Ereditario contributed significantly with two rushing touchdowns, including a notable 19-yard rush into the end zone. The receiving arm of the Rockets saw Ethan George scoring a spectacular 34-yard touchdown, orchestrated by a well-placed pass from quarterback Patrick Cleary. On the offensive side we were able to get big plays from Charlie and Rocco's runs and some timely passes from Patrick. My two interceptions, a fumbled punt and a fumble recovery gave the offense more opportunities."
