Bay High School Rockets Secure First Conference Victory in Varsity Girls Lacrosse

In a stirring display of team strength and strategy, the Bay High School Rockets triumphed over the Brunswick High School Blue Devils with a final score of 15-8 in their varsity girls' lacrosse conference game on March 21, 2025. The game, which was held at Bay Memorial Stadium amidst chilly weather conditions, showcased the Rockets' dominance right from the start, leading to a strong half-time score advantage of 10-4.

Layla Meaux led the Rockets' scoring with four goals, closely followed by Gracie Fitchpatrick who not only scored three goals but also contributed three assists, playing a pivotal role in the Rockets' offensive strategy. Other contributors included Nolie Piktel and Hadley Clark with two goals each, marking Hadley Clark's first goal in her varsity career. Carlin Biondi, Avery Schriner, Kate Fitchpatrick, and Jill Tennant also scored, with Kate achieving her first varsity goal as well, underscoring the game's depth and diversity in scoring prowess. Carlin Biondi and Avery Schriner provided assist support, along with Nolie Piktel who added one as well.
