Bay High School Rockets Secure Victory in Lacrosse Showdown against Walsh Jesuit Warriors
In an exhilarating varsity girls lacrosse contest on March 27, 2025, the Bay High School Rockets triumphed over the Walsh Jesuit High School Warriors with a decisive 16-8 finish at the Bay Memorial Stadium.
The game, part of the regional competition, showcased the Rockets' resilience and strategic prowess. Initially trailing 3-1, Bay High's determination shone through as they rallied to score four consecutive goals, ending the first quarter leading 5-3. The halftime score further reflected their dominance, standing at 10-6 in favor of the Rockets.
Gracie Fitchpatrick was a standout performer, netting six goals, including the game-clinching score with an assist from Avery Schriner. Supporting the offensive onslaught were Layla Meaux with four goals and Hadley Clark contributing two. The scorecard also saw Jill Tennant, Nolie Piktel, Avery Schriner, and Carlin Biondi each adding to the tally.
In the assist department, Carlin Biondi led with three assists, while Nolie Piktel and others supported the team's offensive plays effectively. Defensively, Sophia Crimaldi was a crucial element, making eight saves throughout the game.
