Bay High School Rockets Triumph in Conference Volleyball Showdown Against Buckeye Bucks
In an impressive display of skill and teamwork, the Bay High School Rockets' varsity girls' volleyball team secured a decisive 3-0 victory over the Buckeye Bucks on September 4, 2025, at Buckeye High School. This win further strengthens their stellar season in the regular season conference games.
The Rockets took command early in the match, clinching the first set 25-17. Their momentum didn't wane as they dominated the second set with a 25-16 finish. By the third set, the Rockets were in full control, overwhelming the Bucks with a commanding 25-10 score, sealing the match with a flawless victory. Bay High School's consistent performance across all sets showcased their dominance on the court this season.
Highlighting the match were several standout performances from the Rockets' players. Olivia Miller led the team with an impressive 12 service points, followed closely by Camille Costin who added 9 service points. Olivia Stehlik contributed significantly with 7 points. The team's depth was on display as Nina Peet and Amelia Vecchio scored 4 points each, while Payton Masterson and Ella Hoerig each added 3 points, and Fiona Walden rounded out the scoring with 1 point.
With this win, the Rockets improve their record to 6-1, positioning themselves strongly in the conference.
