Bay High School Rockets Triumph in Tennis Match Against Brunswick

In a commanding home display, the Bay High School Rockets delivered an outstanding performance against Brunswick on September 18, 2025, securing a 4-1 victory in their varsity girls tennis match. Key singles performances came from Julia Mavis and Savannah Keberdle, who played at 1st and 2nd singles respectively. Both players remarkably swept their Brunswick counterparts in straight sets, showcasing their skills and solidifying their positions as top competitors in the league. In doubles, the Rockets continued their dominance with notable matches from Ella Schelzig and Izzy Frombach at 1st doubles, who also won in straight sets against their opponents. The 2nd doubles team, Alice Jones and Sophia Dodge, faced a tougher challenge but ultimately triumphed in 3 sets, adding a crucial win to the team’s success. With this recent victory, the Rockets have set a positive tone for the season. Their next encounter will be held at home against Avon Lake High School on September 22, 2025, where they aim to continue their winning streak.
