Bay High School Varsity Girls Golf Secures 3rd at LEGGA Conference Championship
In a competitive field at the LEGGA Conference Championship held on September 19, 2024, at the Big Met Golf Course, the Bay High School Varsity Girls Golf team clinched third place with a commendable team score of 394. This event saw Bay competing against formidable opponents from Rocky River, Keystone, Westlake, North Olmsted, and Columbia.
Among the standout performers for Bay was Charlotte Fox, who registered the fourth lowest score of the entire day with an impressive 88. Her teammates also put forth valiant efforts; Megan Maybaum shot a 99, Annabel Sjoberg contributed with a 100, Maddie Bigler recorded a 107, Cannon Conley finished with a 109, and Caroline Kousaie rounded out the team's scoring with a 120.
With this performance, Bay High School advances with a strong season record of 13-4. Looking ahead, the team is set to compete next at the Tri-Match involving Rocky River and St. Joe's, slated for September 26, 2024, at Westwood Country Club. The Bay High School girls' team is eager to continue their success as they prepare for the upcoming challenges in their season.
