Bay Boys Tennis Seniors Lead Rockets Past NDCL, 4-1, on Senior Night

Bay High closed its boys tennis regular-season home slate with a 4-1 Senior Night victory over NDCL on Thursday at Bradley Park, powered by a strong showing from its senior class and a series of key wins in singles and doubles play.

The Rockets were led by Martin Hausler at first singles, where the senior earned a straight-sets victory, and by Sacha Jones at second singles, where he delivered one of the match's most dramatic moments by winning in straight sets that included a second-set tiebreaker. In doubles, senior Blaise Linsenmeyer teamed with Nate Trnavsky at first doubles and secured another straight-sets win, giving Bay three of the featured victories highlighted in the team result.

Senior Night belonged to Bay's veteran lineup. Hausler, Jones and Linsenmeyer each finished with victories in what marked their final match on the Bay High courts, helping the Rockets post a 4-1 result against the Lions. The team result reflected Bay's balance across the lineup, with the Rockets taking control through both singles consistency and a dependable doubles point.

Another notable moment came at third singles, where senior Zach Graham earned a well-deserved start. He showcased tremendous skill throughout the match, playing quality tennis, but ultimately fell short against a tough opponent. Even in defeat, Graham's effort added to the tone of the afternoon as Bay's seniors took center stage in one of the team's most complete performances of the spring.

Played under clear skies with temperatures in the upper 50s at Bradley Park in Bay Village, the match gave the Rockets a fitting Senior Night sendoff.
