Bay JV Boys Golf Secure Win Against Rocky River Pirates
In a competitive outing at the Big Met Golf Course in Fairview Park on September 8, 2025, the Bay High School Rockets Golf team clinched a victory against the Rocky River Pirates. The match, played under sunny skies with temperatures in the high seventies and a light breeze, was part of a 9-hole stroke play where the Rockets scored 169 to the Pirates' 187. Key performers for the Rockets included Matthew Mileti, who led with a remarkable 38, featuring two critical birdies on holes #3 and #5. Aiden Carey and Ryan Skryp both carded a 42, with Carey notching 5 pars. Their strong starts were pivotal in setting the tone for the match and contributing to the team's success. Coach's reflections on the team's performance were positive, highlighting the significance of playing well against a familiar adversary. 'The team played a nice round.
