Bay Rockets Boys Cross Country Places 2nd at Tuslaw Invitational on Saturday
The Bay High School Rockets competed in a challenging cross country meet on October 4, 2025, at Nickajack Farms in North Lawrence, OH. Competing against a lineup of schools including Louisville, Mass. Washington, Alliance, and Canton McKinley, the Rockets secured a commendable second-place finish with a team score of 48 points. Bay High's runners turned in several remarkable individual efforts that significantly contributed to the team's success. Liam Jager led the Rockets by finishing 2nd overall. Close behind him, Gavin English took 6th place and Stephen Murphy followed in 7th place. Additional strong performances came from Mikey Taylor and Charlie Juratic, who placed 16th and 17th. Looking ahead, the Bay High School Rockets are gearing up for their next competition, the CWC Championship, scheduled for October 11, 2025, at Buckeye High School. The team aims to build on their recent strong performance and push for an even better outcome in the upcoming event.
