In a thrilling encounter on the lacrosse field at UH St. Johns Field on April 3, 2025, the Bay High School Rockets secured a narrow victory against the Westlake High School Demons, with a final score of 9-8. This conference clash saw the Rockets come from behind to claim a win in a game characterized by its competitive spirit and strategic gameplay.
The first half concluded with the Rockets trailing by one, with a halftime score of 5-6 in favor of the Demons. However, the Bay Rockets made a strong comeback in the second half, ultimately edging out their opponents by a single point. Grady Joyce led the scoring with four goals, followed by Vince Boushelle with two, while Beckett LaVogue, John Messmore, and Rocco Ereditario each added one.
Sean Kraft, the Rockets' goalie, made significant contributions with numerous key saves that kept the Rockets in contention throughout the game.
