Bay Rockets Varsity Boys Soccer Secures Decisive Victory Over Valley Forge in Cold Contest
In a dominant performance under the cold night at Byers Field, the Bay High School Rockets varsity men's soccer team prevailed with an impressive 8-0 victory against the Valley Forge Patriots on October 8, 2025. This regular season match showcased the Rockets' offensive capabilities and strategic defense, maintaining a clean sheet throughout the game. The first half set the tone with the Rockets rocketing to a 4-0 lead, thanks to two goals from Jackson Ziemnik and one each from Weston Matty and Oliver Marotta. Assists were plentiful, with Nico Jameson and Grahm Conway setting up Ziemnik for two of his goals. The halftime score was reflective of Bay's control over the game. In the second half, the goals continued with Ziemnik completing his hat-trick, and Matty adding another to his tally. Ryan Rothman and Nico Jameson also found the back of the net, rounding off the scoring for the Rockets. Assists came from Oliver Marotta, who contributed twice, and Weston Matty, who also assisted Jameson's goal. Goalkeeping duties were split between Logan Jennrich in the first half and Henry Schriner in the second, both ensuring the Patriots were kept at bay.
