The Bay Rockets Varsity Boys Soccer team triumphed in a decisive 3-0 victory against Buckeye High School on a warm, rainy September 24th evening at Bay Memorial Stadium. The match marked a special event as the team celebrated Senior Night, a key moment for the varsity squad. From the start of the match, the Rockets demonstrated strong offensive skills. In the first half, Weston Matty started the scoring, followed by Evan Chatteau, who netted the ball with an assist from Nico Jameson. This aggressive play set a comfortable 2-0 lead by halftime. The second half opened with the same intensity, with Oliver Marotta extending the lead to three goals, thanks to an assist by Jackson Ziemnik. Defense played a crucial role in the Rockets' strategy. Logan Jennrich, the Rockets' goalie, kept a clean sheet throughout the game, ensuring the team maintained its lead.
