Bay Varsity Girls Golf Competes at Blue Streak Invitational
The Bay High School Rockets girls varsity golf team participated in the Blue Streak Invitational held at Avon Oaks Country Club on August 18, 2025. The tournament brought together a strong field, including teams from Dublin Jerome, Magnificat, Walsh Jesuit, St. Ursula, and 19 other teams from across Ohio. The Rockets faced tough competition under the match play format, completing the 18-hole course with a total team score of 388, securing the 18th place. The tournament was won by Dublin Jerome, who led with an impressive score of 302. Among the individual performers from Bay High School, Annabel Sjoberg highlighted the team's efforts with a score of 92, closely followed by Charlotte Fox with a 93. Additionally, Cannon Conley contributed a 100, while Caroline Kousaie and Mariah VanNewhouse posted scores of 103 and 114 respectively. Following their efforts at the Blue Streak Invitational, the Bay High School Rockets are geared up to face Gilmour Academy in their next match, which will take place at Airport Greens on August 19, 2025.
