Bay Varsity Girls Golf Triumphs in Conference Match vs Westlake
The Bay High School Rockets girls varsity golf team secured a victory over Westlake in the LEGGA Conference Match on August 25, 2025, at Sweetbriar Golf Course. This win enhances their season record to 7 wins against 3 losses. The match format was a 9 hole stroke play, where the Rockets outplayed Westlake with a solid team score of 181 compared to Westlake's 187. Bay High's Charlotte Fox led the charge with an impressive score of 41, making her one of the top individual performers of the day. She was closely followed by her teammate Annabel Sjoberg, who scored 44. Other notable contributions came from Caroline Kousaie and Mariah VanNewhouse, both carding 48, while Cannon Conley and Amelia Dalalau rounded out the scoring for Bay High School with scores of 49 and 50 respectively.
