Bay Varsity Girls Soccer Faces Setback Against Medina Bees on Saturday

In a challenging regular season game on September 6, 2025, the Bay High School Rockets varsity women's soccer team faced a tough opponent, the Medina Bees, at Bay. The game concluded with the Rockets falling behind, scoring 1 to Medina's 4. The first half saw the Rockets struggling to find their rhythm, allowing the Medina Bees to take a substantial lead with a score of 2-0 by halftime. Despite efforts to turn the tide in the second half, the Rockets managed only one goal, finishing the match at a disadvantage, with a final score of 4-1 in favor of Medina. Reflecting on the game, the Rockets' coach emphasized the need for improvement. 'This game was a good learning experience for our team. Medina has an outstanding team. We need to play with more composure on the ball and learn to win more 50/50 battles,' commented the coach. As the season advances, the Rockets, now with a record of 3-2-0, look to implement these lessons in their play and strive for a stronger performance in upcoming games.
