Bay Varsity Volleyball Secures Victory Against Lakewood in Regular Season Volleyball Match

The Bay High School Rockets girls varsity volleyball team clinched a victory over the Rangers from Lakewood on August 26, 2025, during their regular season conference match held at Lakewood High School. The Bay Rockets won the match with a final score of 3-1, adding to their impressive current season record of 3-1. The match opened strongly for the Rockets, taking the first set 25-21. They continued their success into the second set with a score of 25-19, demonstrating solid control and offensive plays. The third set saw a close contest, with the Rangers edging out the Rockets 25-23, briefly shifting the momentum. However, the Rockets regained their composure and narrowly secured the fourth set with a score of 26-24, thus concluding the match in their favor. Several players stood out in this match, showcasing exceptional skill and teamwork. Olivia Stehlik led with 11 service points, followed closely by Amelia Vecchio and Olivia Miller, who contributed 10 service points each. Payton Masterson made a noteworthy performance with 9 service points. Further contributions were seen from Camille Costin with 8 service points and Ella Hoerig, adding 7 service points.
