The game, hosted at Berea Midpark High School, saw the Rockets struggle to find their rhythm, ultimately letting the Knights extend their lead as the game progressed.

Despite efforts to rally back, the Rockets faced difficulties in capitalizing on scoring opportunities, particularly from the free-throw line, where they shot 6-26. Norah Trefz led the scoring for Bay Village with 8 points, followed by Sarah Hein who contributed 5 points, but their efforts were not enough to secure a victory.

Coach of the Rockets commented on the game, "The girls continued to play hard all game. We could just not get any momentum going because of missed layups and free throws."
