Madelyn Lee Scores Twice as Bay Rolls Past Findlay 5-1
Madelyn Lee delivered the decisive attacking performance with two goals as Bay High School earned a 5-1 nonleague victory over Findlay on Sunday at 29230 Wolf Rd, Bay Village, OH 44140. The Rockets produced their highest-impact moments in front of goal, using contributions from multiple scorers to secure the four-goal win.
The brace raised Madelyn Lee's season total to six goals and led Bay's five-goal attack. The two-goal performance provided the centerpiece of the victory and continued a productive start to the season for one of the Rockets' leading finishers.
Aley Fetterman, Anna Weigart and Alex Linsenmeyer also found the net for Bay, giving Findlay several attacking threats to manage throughout the match. The distribution of goals helped the Rockets turn their opportunities into a convincing result rather than relying on a single scorer.
Bay also limited Findlay to one goal, complementing the team's attacking output with a solid overall defensive showing. That work allowed the Rockets' five goals to stand comfortably and completed a balanced performance at both ends of the field.
The Rockets will return home to face Westlake HS at 5 p.m. EDT Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2026. The match will give Bay an opportunity to build on the scoring balance and defensive effort that produced the victory over Findlay.
