Rockets Celebrate Sr. Night in Style with Victory Over Lakewood
On a picture-perfect afternoon at the historic Sweetbriar Golf Course, the Bay High Rockets celebrated Senior Night in memorable fashion, honoring five outstanding young men while delivering a hard-fought 153–159 victory over the Lakewood Rangers.
With a tremendous crowd on hand to support this special group, the Rockets played with confidence, energy, and plenty of smiles. The seniors embraced the moment, and the team delivered a performance worthy of the occasion.
Matthew Mileti — 36
The senior co-captain led the way with a 36, setting the tone for the Rockets and continuing his impressive season.
Ryan Skryp — 37
Ryan followed closely behind with a strong 37, helping fuel the Rockets’ winning performance on a day dedicated to the senior class.
Emmitt Naughton — 38
The senior co-captain posted a steady 38, contributing another important score to the Rockets’ team total.
Aidan Carey — 41
Aidan stepped into the celebration and delivered a solid 41, helping the Rockets secure the victory.
Blake Ropelewski — 41
Blake matched Aidan with a 41, providing valuable support in a team effort that never lost its focus.
Will Schrock — 45
Although Will may not have had his best afternoon on the scorecard, his personality, humor, and positive energy were on full display. Some things simply cannot be measured in strokes!
Leo Cal — Team Manager Extraordinaire
Keeping the operation running smoothly, Leo continued to serve as the team manager extraordinaire. His presence, humor, and dedication remain an important part of the Bay High golf family.
As coaches, we could not be prouder of this outstanding group of young men.
Leo, Matthew, Emmitt, Will, and Ryan — thank you for your commitment, sacrifice, and dedication to the Bay High golf program. The countless hours spent practicing, competing, supporting teammates, and putting in the work behind the scenes have not gone unnoticed.
Thank you for representing Bay Village with pride, integrity, and class. You have given this program so much more than golf scores. You have given us laughter, unforgettable memories, leadership, and a competitive spirit that has helped elevate the Rockets to new heights.
Over the past several seasons, you have helped build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and excellence. Your impact will extend far beyond the final round of this season. The younger players have watched, learned, and grown alongside you. Now, they have the opportunity to carry forward the standard you helped establish.
That is the true legacy of a senior class — not just the wins and losses, but the people you inspire and the culture you leave behind.
We are incredibly proud of each of you and grateful for everything you have contributed to Bay High golf.
Senior Night may be in the books, but the season is far from over. The Rockets have more golf to play, more challenges to embrace, and more opportunities to make some noise.
