On May 9, 2025, Boys Track & Field was at the Bell Invitational held in Rocky River. The event saw a remarkable performance across both track and field categories, with several athletes from the school securing top positions. In the track events, Kieran Ripley was a standout performer, securing first place in the 3200 Meter Run with a time of 10:03.81, a clear lead of over 7 seconds ahead of the nearest competitor. Noteworthy achievements came from Jayden Perrine and Ben Kamm, who claimed second places in the 100 Meter Dash and 400 Meter Dash respectively. Kamm's finish was particularly close, just 0.03 seconds shy of the winner. The 1600 Meter Run featured strong efforts from Ripley and Michael Hanselman, who finished third and fourth, underscoring the team's strength in middle-distance runs. The field events also reflected strong performances, with Jackson Smith and Lute Harmon earning praise in the High Jump, and Max Fischer tying for seventh place in the Pole Vault. The Long Jump saw Dylan Eiler secure a seventh-place finish. In throwing events, Braeden Egan in the Shot Put and Sully Knaack in the Discus Throw made respectable showings with their placements. The Rockets are preparing to carry this momentum into their next challenge at the CWC Championship Meet, scheduled to take place on May 12, 2025, in Bay Village. The team hopes to continue their strong performance and achieve new records in the upcoming meet.
