BAY_VILLAGE, Ohio - Bay High School lost to Holy Name 3-1 in volleyball Thursday, October 22, in Bay Village, falling 25-22, 20-25, 25-14, 25-23. The match was a sectional final.

The Rockets stayed within three points in the opening set before evening the match with a 25-20 victory in the second. That five-point margin was Bay's strongest set result of the night and left both teams needing two more set wins. Holy Name took the third set 25-14 to move ahead 2-1, putting the Rockets in a must-win position entering the fourth.

Bay made the fourth set the tightest of the match, but Holy Name secured the deciding 25-23 result rather than allowing a fifth set.
