Rockets Girls Lacrosse Suffer Defeat Against Bishop Watterson Eagles
In a challenging regular season lacrosse game on April 17, Bay High School's varsity girls' team faced a tough loss against Bishop Watterson High School at the opponent's field. The final tally showed Bay Rockets falling to the Bishop Watterson Eagles with a score of 4-18. The game began on a struggling note for the Rockets as they were trailing 4-12 by halftime. Despite the efforts to pull back in the second half, the score concluded at Bay 4, Watterson 18. Carlin Biondi was a standout performer for Bay, netting three goals, followed by Gracie Fitchpatrick who added another to the scoreboard. Sophia Crimaldi and Lydia Lin served as the goalies for the Rockets, with Crimaldi making two saves in the first half and Lin contributing four saves in her half.
