Rockets go into Byers field and dominate Valley Forge 25-13.
BAY_VILLAGE, Ohio - Bay High School defeated Valley Forge 25-13 in a conference football game Thursday, Oct. 8, with two early passing touchdowns and a two-point conversion providing the Rockets’ opening advantage. The Rockets defense really stepped up as well, Ethan Sedivec had a forced fumble with the recovery and an interception as well. The Rockets went into Byers field and dominated Valley Forge.
Bay’s passing attack accounted for the early separation, giving the Rockets a lead against Valley Forge. Patrick Cleary was credited with three touchdown passes and another amazing night throwing the football, with Brody Beggs accounting for two receiving touchdowns. Beggs was the only receiver credited with multiple touchdown catches in Bay’s scoring contributions.
Patrick passed to Ethan Sedivec who came up with another TD to add to his nearly record setting count on the season. Those contributions gave Cleary three passing touchdowns and helped lead the Rockets to victory. On special teams, Griffin Ruppe was credited with a made field goal and a 3-for-3 performance on extra points, converting every listed extra-point attempt.

Valley Forge finished with 13 points as Bay secured the conference victory by two scores. The Rockets return home for their next matchup after this road win. Bay plays Westlake in its next contest Friday, Oct. 16, at 7 p.m.
