The Rockets kicked off the week by making some noise at the Middie Classic, held at the historic Columbia Hills Country Club. The fellas played with intelligence, composure, and precision throughout the day, producing an outstanding team performance.

Bay finished tied for 4th place in a competitive 16-team field, posting an impressive team score of 321.

(Sr.) Co-Captain Matthew Mileti put on a ball-striking clinic. Matthew played a relaxed, confident round from start to finish, firing a 77 with two birdies to earn an impressive 7th-place finish among 80 players.

Co-Captain Emmitt Naughton continued his outstanding season with an 80. Emmitt's ability to grind through every shot and compete until the final hole is something that is admired by both his teammates and coaches.

(Sr.) Ryan Skryp's late-season charge is officially in full swing. Ryan posted a varsity career-low tournament score of 80, continuing to elevate his game when it matters most. His improvement off the tee is taking his game to another level and giving him even more confidence heading into the postseason.

Battling through a severe head cold, Aiden Carey showed tremendous toughness and gutted out an 84. Aiden's putting stroke was on point throughout the round and played a major role in his strong performance.

Will Schrock and Blake also battled hard and contributed solid rounds of 86 and 88, respectively.

Beyond the numbers, the most encouraging part of the day was the positive team morale and continued belief in one another. The Rockets are beginning to round into form at exactly the right time, and the energy within the program continues to build.

With sectionals on the horizon, this group is gaining confidence, playing with purpose, and embracing the challenge ahead.

Keep grinding, Rockets. The best golf is still ahead!
