Bay Rockets Girls Basketball raced out to a huge early lead and never looked back Saturday afternoon, rolling to a 67-23 win over Valley Forge at Bay High School. The Rockets seized control with a dominant first quarter and put the game out of reach by halftime, turning defensive pressure and balanced scoring into one of their most complete performances of the season.

Bay set the tone immediately, opening the first quarter with a 29-4 surge that effectively decided the outcome in the opening eight minutes. The Rockets’ pressure defense forced turnover after turnover, fueling transition opportunities and quick-hitting offense. By the end of the first half, Bay had built a 44-10 advantage, showcasing both its efficiency on offense and discipline on the defensive end.

Guard Madelyn Lee led the offensive attack, finishing with a game-high 20 points to go with 3 steals and 3 rebounds. Lee poured in 10 of those points in the first quarter alone, sparking the opening run that put Valley Forge on its heels. Her ability to score at all three levels and create havoc in the passing lanes helped the Rockets maintain momentum throughout the night.
