The Rockets made the Pirates walk the plank with a thrilling 166–170 come-from-behind victory, showcasing tremendous composure, determination, and belief throughout the round.
Sam Vardon got the Rockets rolling with an impressive 40. Sam’s ball striking continues to be a strength of his game. Although he left a few strokes out on the course, his strong start provided the spark the Rockets needed.
In the second group, Jack McAllister returned to form with a steady 42. Jack stayed composed throughout his round and provided a key score when the Rockets needed it most.
Josh Plautz continued his impressive stretch of play, posting a 45. Josh has been a major contributor over the past three weeks, and his consistent play has made a significant impact on the team. A breakthrough low round appears to be right around the corner.

With the match hanging in the balance, “Roberto” Pinkeva stepped to the tee on No. 9 with the Rockets and Pirates deadlocked. Roberto delivered when his team needed him most, matching his season-best with a 39 and catapulting the Rockets to a four-stroke victory!
