Rockets Shine in Conference Golf Matchup vs Rocky River, Wellington
The Bay High School Rockets Girls Varsity Golf team delivered an impressive performance at a LEGGA Conference Matchup at Sweetbriar Golf Course on August 14, 2025. Competing in a trimatch against Rocky River and Wellington, the Rockets showcased their skills in a challenging 9-hole stroke play format. Bay High School emerged victorious with a commendable team score of 176, outpacing Rocky River's score of 182 and Wellington's score of 219. This significant win adds to their current season record, bringing them to 2 wins and 2 losses. The Rockets' success was fueled by standout performances from several key players. Charlotte Fox led the team with a score of 40, followed closely by Annabel Sjoberg who carded a 44. Caroline Kousaie, Amelia Dalalau, and Cannon Conley each contributed with a score of 46, while Mariah VanNewhouse rounded out the strong team effort with a 47. This collective effort was instrumental in securing the win.
