Varsity Girls Golf Finishes 2nd In LEGGA Tri-Match

On September 25, 2025, the Bay High School Rockets Girls varsity golf team competed in a keenly contested 9-hole stroke play match of the LEGGA Conference against Westlake and Keystone at Little Met. The match showcased a commendable performance by the Bay team, leading them to a solid second place finish in the conference. Bay High School logged a score of 181, a close contest compared to Westlake's 192 but falling behind Keystone's leading score of 162. This differential was critical in defining the standings at this pivotal match. The standout player was Charlotte Fox, who led the Rockets with a top score of 42. Other significant contributions came from Annabel Sjoberg, who shot a 44, Amelia Dalalau with a 45, Cannon Conley scoring 50, Caroline Kousaie carding 51, and Hope Rankin, who came in with a 53. The day was marked by a critical win versus Westlake which secured the Rockets' second-place position in the conference standings. Such results reflect a strategic performance by the team, adjusting to both competitors and course challenges effectively. Looking ahead, the focus shifts to the upcoming Sectionals scheduled for Monday, August 29. The Rockets will be preparing vigorously, hoping to carry forward their positive momentum from the LEGGA Conference match.
