Buckeye High School’s girls varsity bowling team turned in a dominant performance against Norwalk, rolling to a 1,773–1,125 victory behind a deep, balanced lineup and solid Baker games at Buckeye Lanes in Medina.

The Bucks built their win on consistent scoring across the roster rather than a single breakout game. LaRyssa Hartshorn led the way with a 338 series on games of 174 and 164, setting the tone at the top of the lineup. Close behind, Aubrey Reuter posted a 328 series, pairing a 160 opening game with a strong 168 in her second outing to keep Buckeye comfortably in front of Norwalk’s girls throughout match play.

Addison Fry added another key series for Buckeye, finishing with 316 on games of 160 and 156. Her steady presence in the middle of the order helped the Bucks maintain scoring pressure each game. Leah Kaczmarski contributed a 277 series, improving from 121 to 156 in her second game to round out Buckeye’s core scoring block.

Depth was another advantage for Buckeye. Riley Onyx chipped in with a 118 game, while Lily Woznicki added a 109, giving the Bucks valuable pins beyond their top series leaders. The combination of high series totals and reliable supporting scores created a gap Norwalk was unable to close as the match progressed.

Buckeye then closed out the match in Baker play, where five bowlers rotate frames in a single team game. The Bucks rolled Baker games of 130 and 157, capping a strong all-around performance. Those team scores helped secure the final margin and reflected the group’s ability to convert spares and stay clean in pressure frames.

With the 1,773–1,125 win, the Buckeye girls varsity team continued to build early-season momentum. Behind multiple 300-plus series and improving Baker numbers, the Bucks demonstrated the balance and depth that should keep them competitive as they move deeper into their schedule.
