MEDINA, Ohio — The Buckeye High School girls varsity bowling team turned in a dominant performance Wednesday at AMF Medina Lanes, defeating Brunswick 1,805-1,288 behind a deep lineup and steady Baker-game finish.

Buckeye set the tone in individual play, building a sizeable lead that Brunswick never threatened. Leah Kaczmarski delivered the highest series of the match with a consistent 148-148 for a 296 total, anchoring the lineup with back-to-back identical games that kept the Bucks in control throughout.

Aubrey Reuter and Addison Fry provided key support to that team total. Reuter posted games of 180 and 193 for a strong 373 series, while Fry added a 247 series on games of 164 and 183. Their scoring surge helped Buckeye widen the margin and gave the Bucks multiple high-end scores on the board in each game.

Depth also proved to be an advantage for Buckeye. Additional contributions came from Riley Onyx with a 140 game, LaRyssa Hartshorn with a 138, Sophie Osborne with a 116 and Lily Woznicki with a 92. The combination of top-end series and solid supporting scores allowed the Bucks to steadily pull away from Brunswick over the course of the match.

Buckeye then closed out the contest with two reliable Baker games, rolling 154 and 149 to cap the 1,805-pin effort. The Baker performance sealed the outcome and reflected the group’s cohesion, as multiple frames were covered cleanly to prevent any opportunity for a Brunswick rally.

With the 517-pin victory, Buckeye’s girls varsity squad continued to showcase a balanced roster capable of both high individual totals and strong Baker execution. The match at AMF Medina Lanes adds another convincing result to the Bucks’ schedule as the team looks to maintain its momentum heading into the heart of the winter season.
