Bucks honor seniors with dominant win over North Ridgeville

On a special Senior Night at AMF Medina Lanes, Bucks Women’s Bowling turned in one of its most complete performances of the season, rolling past North Ridgeville 2,199–1,867 on Wednesday. Behind big series from its veteran leaders and steady scores up and down the lineup, Buckeye High School Athletics celebrated both a convincing victory and a memorable sendoff for its senior class.

Senior anchor Aubrey Reuter set the tone for the Bucks, putting together a powerful 408 series on games of 206 and 202. Her consistency frame after frame gave Buckeye a reliable foundation in both team games and helped the hosts build a cushion North Ridgeville could never seriously threaten. Reuter’s ability to stay locked in on a big night underscored why she has been such a steady presence for the program.

Fellow senior Leah Kaczmarski delivered a crucial spark of her own, finishing with a strong 385 series on games of 178 and 207. After opening with a solid first game, Kaczmarski elevated her performance in the second, crossing the 200 mark and helping the Bucks pull away on the scoreboard. Her late-match surge was one of the defining stretches of the night, turning a solid lead into a commanding advantage.

Senior Laryssa Hartshorn also rose to the occasion, matching the moment with a 354 series built on games of 199 and 155. Hartshorn’s near-200 opener provided early momentum and added another high-end score to Buckeye’s lineup, giving the team a three-senior core that consistently applied pressure on North Ridgeville. The trio of Reuter, Kaczmarski and Hartshorn showed why they have been cornerstones for the Bucks, combining for 1,147 pins in their final regular-season home appearance.

The Bucks’ success, however, extended well beyond the seniors. Underclassmen stepped in with poised performances that rounded out a deep, balanced effort. Addison Fry matched Hartshorn’s series with a 354 of her own, rolling games of 166 and 188 to give Buckeye another dependable lane. Riley Onyx added a 311 series on games of 155 and 156, and her steady scoring helped ensure there were no openings for a North Ridgeville comeback.

Buckeye’s advantage grew even more in Baker play, where team chemistry and execution shined. The Bucks posted impressive Baker games of 213 and 174, closing the match with the kind of collective focus that has become a hallmark of the program. Those Baker scores put an emphatic stamp on the 2,199–1,867 victory and showcased how well the lineup works together in pressure situations.

For Buckeye, the night was about more than numbers on the scoreboard. It was a celebration of seniors who have helped raise the standard for Bucks Women’s Bowling and set an example for the next wave of players. With a decisive win, standout series from each senior, and strong contributions across the roster, the Bucks sent their upperclassmen out on a high note and built valuable momentum for the upcoming stretch of the season.
