The Bucks Women’s Bowling team put an exclamation point on a historic regular season Wednesday night, rolling past Elyria at Maple Ridge for a decisive home victory that capped a perfect 17-0 campaign. Coming off a conference tournament championship just days earlier, the Bucks carried that momentum onto the lanes again, using steady scoring in both team games and a strong Baker finish to secure the match.

Senior standout Aubrey Reuter led the way and set the tone in traditional play, posting games of 171 and 233 for one of the night’s top series. Her 233 in the second game was a decisive spark, helping Buckeye pull away as the match tightened and giving the lineup a reliable anchor in the leadoff and clutch frames. Reuter’s ability to adjust to the lanes and string together marks was a major factor in the Bucks’ control of the match from start to finish.

The Bucks also got a huge push from Addison Fry, who opened the night with a powerful 208 before adding a 134 in game two to keep the scoring depth intact. Behind her, Leah Kaczmarkski turned in a consistent night with games of 164 and 132, providing key mid-lineup stability. LaRyssa Hartshown rounded out the core four in both games with 138 and 148, stepping up in several pressure frames to convert spares and keep Elyria from gaining ground.

Buckeye’s depth continued to shine with contributions across the roster. Riley Onyx delivered a 163 in her varsity game, adding another strong score to the Bucks’ total in traditional play. In the second game, Lily Woznicki stepped in and responded with a 122, showing the kind of next-player-up poise that has defined the team’s unbeaten run. That combination of star power at the top and reliable depth throughout the lineup once again gave Buckeye a clear edge.

The Bucks then shut the door in Baker play, posting team games of 118 and 160. The jump from the first Baker to the second highlighted the group’s chemistry and late-match focus, as the lineup cleaned up spare shooting and found more strikes in the anchor frames. That 160 Baker closer served as the final statement of the night, reinforcing why Buckeye has been so difficult to beat in any format this season.
