POINT LOOKOUT, MO — In a n intense Sooner Athletic Conference battle at the College of the Ozarks, the Bobcats were narrowly defeated by the John Brown University Golden Eagles on Saturday. The final score of 75-70 left the Bobcats reflecting on what might have been in a game where they couldn't quite close the gap, despite a close halftime score of 40-34 in favor of the Golden Eagles. Garrett Snyder led the scoring for the Bobcats with a solid 20 points, closely followed by Caleb Faulkner with 14 points and Jay Baxter, who contributed 13 points along with a commendable defensive effort featuring 4 steals and 2 blocks. Altogether, the Bobcats displayed a resilient team effort, but it wasn't enough to surmount the challenge posed by John Brown's sharpshooters, including Trae Oetting who topped the game with 29 points.
