Detroit Cristo Rey High School athletics is set for a full week of spring competition, with both the Lady Wolves soccer and softball teams heading on the road for a packed slate of games beginning May 4. This week brings several opportunities for the Wolves to represent the school across the Metro Detroit as spring schedules pick up.

Lady Wolves soccer opens its week Tuesday, May 5, with a 6 p.m. match at Riverview Gabriel Richard. The team will return to action Thursday, May 7, traveling to Harper Woods for a 5 p.m. nonleague contest. It is another chance for Detroit Cristo Rey to compete away from home and continue building momentum during the spring season.

Softball faces an especially busy stretch, with every game on the road. The Lady Wolves begin Monday, May 4, at Hazel Park High School with a 4:30 p.m. first pitch. They are back in action Tuesday, May 5, at Allen Park Cabrini for a doubleheader starting at 4:30 p.m., then travel again Thursday, May 7, for a 4:30 p.m. game at Renaissance.

With multiple road tests packed into a single week, Detroit Cristo Rey's student-athletes will have plenty of chances to show their resilience, energy and school pride. The stretch reflects the steady commitment of the Lady Wolves programs as they continue representing Detroit Cristo Rey in spring sports competition.
