Frankel Jewish Academy defeats Our Lady of the Lakes by 20 strokes in CHSL match
FJA earned a decisive 170-190 victory over Our Lady of the Lakes in a CHSL match Wednesday at Our Lady of the Lakes, led by a strong round from Aaron Schuchman and a balanced effort throughout the Jaguars lineup.
Schuchman posted the day’s low score with a 40, setting the pace for Frankel Jewish Academy from the start. Kobi Schmeltz and Moses Schuchman each carded a 43, giving the Jaguars three strong scores in the low 40s. Robbie Feldman added a 44, rounding out the counting scores that pushed Frankel Jewish Academy to a 20-shot win.
The result reflected both consistency and improvement for the Jaguars. In addition to winning comfortably, Frankel Jewish Academy bettered its previous round at The Fountains by 18 shots, a notable step forward early in the season. The team total of 170 showed depth across the lineup and gave the Jaguars control of the match against the Lakers.
With Schuchman leading the field and steady support behind him, the Jags turned individual success into a convincing team performance. Low rounds from Schmeltz, Moses Schuchman and Feldman prevented any drop-off in the scoring card and allowed the Jaguars to separate themselves over the course of the match.
The victory adds another encouraging result for Frankel Jewish Academy as it continues CHSL play. The Jaguars are currently ranked #7 in Division 4, a detail that adds context to a performance that matched the standard of one of the state’s top programs.
