November 14, 2025 HELENA, Mont. - No. 1 seed Providence (Mont.) continued its dominant season with a convincing 3–0 sweep of No. 5 Montana Tech, winning by set scores of 25–19, 25–17, 25–19 in the neutral-site matchup at the CC PE Center. The Argos’ offensive efficiency and balanced attack proved too much for the Orediggers, who struggled to slow down Providence’s front line. Set 1: Providence Pulls Away Late Montana Tech opened strong, forcing several early ties behind kills from Kinnidi Willmore and Payton Treadwell. But once Providence settled in, their offense—which hit .407 in the set—took control. Bella Green, Martyna Fiedler, and Sadie Giles powered a mid-set surge, while service pressure from Heather Barbee and Araleigh Arnold pushed the Argos ahead 21–14. A kill from Cabry Taylor sealed the 25–19 win. Set 2: Argos’ Offense Overwhelms the Orediggers Providence delivered its sharpest performance of the night in Set 2, hitting an exceptional .500 as a team. Bella Green dominated the frame with a series of kills from setter Bella Thompson, who dished out 41 assists in the match. Montana Tech made a late push—highlighted by a service ace from Brooklynn Hayes and a block tandem of Piper Jette and Madison Biery—but Providence remained composed. Green’s kill on set point capped another 25–17 victory. Set 3: Providence Completes the Sweep Montana Tech fought hard early, with standout plays from Treadwell and Willmore keeping the score tight.
