Carroll College set to host the 2025 Frontier Conference Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships
HELENA, Mont. — The Frontier Conference welcomes outdoor track & field student-athletes from all six member schools to the 2025 Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Sunday, May 4 and Monday, May 5 at Vigilante Stadium in Helena. Heading into the meet, there are a number of competitors who have achieved either the NAIA automatic standard (A) or NAIA provisional standard (B) for their respective events. Abby Clark from Montana Tech is currently No. 2 in the NAIA for the heptathlon with a score of 4,902. NAIA (A) Qualifying Marks: - The 4 x 800 meter relay team from Rocky Mountain (9:14.79 at the Yellowjackets Open) - Jadyn Vermillion from Montana Tech (6.11 meters in the long jump at the Montana Open) - Lauren Cima from Providence (54.26 meters in the hammer throw at the Montana Open) - Jenna Jordan from Montana Tech (43.86 meters in the javelin at the Montana Open) - Shelbey Klein from Providence (42.80 meters in the javelin at the Trudnowski Open) NAIA (B) Qualifying Marks: - Madelen Shipman from Carroll (2:13.24 in the 800-meter run at the Trudnowski Open) - Claire Bucklin from Carroll (1:03.05 in the 400-meter hurdles at the Montana Open) - Grace Timm from Rocky Mountain (11:09.64 in the 3000-meter Steeplechase at the Dickinson State Blue Hawk Games) - Abby Clark from Montana Tech (1.66 meters in the high jump and 5.75 meters in the long jump at the Providence Open) - Brynn Wandle from Carroll (3.74 meters in the pole vault at the Montana Open) - Ayla Janzen from Montana Tech (11.80 meters in the triple jump at the Providence Open) - Lauren Cima from Providence (14.07 meters in the shot put at the Providence Open and 44.64 meters in the discus at the Yellowjackets Open) - Tatiana Martinez from Providence (46.92 meters in the discus at the Yellowjackets Open) - Havyn Vandenacre from Providence (40.34 meters in the javelin at the Yellowjackets/Battlin' Bears Icebreaker Open) Montana Tech is the reigning Frontier Conference Women's Outdoor Track and Field champion based on their team performance at the 2024 conference meet in Butte.
