Fighting Saints host the 2025 Frontier Conference Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championships

HELENA, Mont. — Carroll College is set to welcome athletes from across the Frontier Conference to the 2025 Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Sunday, May 4 and Monday, May 5 at Vigilante Stadium. The 2025 conference meet will feature student-athletes from all six member schools. Heading into the meet, there are a number of competitors who have achieved either the NAIA A automatic standard (A) or NAIA provisional standard (B) for their respective events. Carroll's Carson Krack and Tucker Monaco hold the #1 and #3 marks in the NAIA for the Decathlon with 6840 and 6733 points respectively. NAIA (A) Qualifying Marks: - Brycen Gardner from Carroll (9:13.35 in the 3000-meter Steeplechase at the Montana Open) - Weston Means from Carroll (2.09 meters in the high jump at the Trudnowski Open) - Josh Smalley (4.94 meters in the pole vault at the Montana Open) - Jay Jetmore from Rocky Mountain (4.90 meters in the pole vault at the Providence Open) - Trystin Chapel from Rocky Mountain (7.47 meters in the long jump at the Yellowjackets/Battlin' Bears Icebreaker Open) - Cade VanVleet from Montana Tech (17.23 meters in shot put at the Providence Open and 53.14 meters in the discus at the Whitworth Peace Meet) NAIA (B) Qualifying Marks: - Carson Krack from Carroll (53.28 seconds in the 400-meter hurdles at the Montana Open) - Zack Gacnik from Carroll (30:42.26 in the 10,000 meters at the Whitworth Peace Meet) - Montana Tech 4 x 400 relay team (3:16.38 by Moreni, Schrader, McClernan, and Wagner at the Whitworth Peace Meet) - Carroll 4 x 800 relay (7:43.75 by Ehredt, Gacnik, Morris, and Jensen at the Trudnowski Open) - Tucker Monaco from Carroll (4.80m in the Pole Vault at the Fighting Saints Open) - Nicolo Lancini from Montana Tech (14.71 meters in the triple jump at the Yellowjackets Open) - Travis Zavala from Providence (16.31 meters in the shot put at the Providence Open) - Colter Ball from Montana Tech (59.28 meters in the javelin at the Al Manuel Invitational) Montana Tech is the reigning Frontier Conference Men's Outdoor Track and Field champion based on their team performance at the 2024 conference meet in Butte.
