Rocky Mountain claims 2025 Frontier/Cal Pac Women’s Golf Qualifier title
PHOENIX, Ariz. – Rocky Mountain edged Montana Tech by 11 strokes to win the 2025 Frontier Conference/Cal Pac Women’s Golf Qualifier Tournament at Papago Golf Club Wednesday. The Battlin’ Bears held on to win the title after shooting a 3-day tournament 968 strokes (104-over-par). The Orediggers finished second with 979 strokes (115-over-par), despite recording the third-round team’s low score of 322 strokes. Carroll finished third, followed by Soka University of America fourth, and California State University-Maritime fifth. Rocky Mountain received the NAIA’s automatic bid to the NAIA Women’s Golf National Tournament on May 13-16 at Eagle Crest Golf Club in Ypsilanti, Mich. Grace Metcalf led from start to finish to capture the individual title with 18-over-par 234 strokes for Rocky Mountain. Her teammate Isabella Downing finished second with 20-over-par 236 strokes. Kodie Hoagland and Emma Woods of Montana Tech finished in a two-way tie for third. Michelle Euan of Simpson finished fifth with 245 strokes (29-over-par). Ellie Stastny of Carroll, who shot the low third round of 73 (1-over-par), finished sixth with 246 strokes (30-over-par).
