BAINBRIDGE, Ohio - Gilmour Boys JV Golf team earned its first dual-match victory of the season Tuesday, defeating Chagrin Falls 175-200 at Tanglewood Golf Club. The Lancers placed four golfers in the 40s and used a balanced scoring lineup to secure the 25-stroke win.
Liam McCrone led the Lancers with the low round of the match, posting a 40. Carter Slife followed with a 43, and Keegan Wintersteller added a 45. Madden Pellegrini completed the four counting scores with a 47, giving Gilmour its team total of 175.
The depth continued with Parker Williams recording a 48 and Joe Goff finishing with a 49. Although those rounds did not count toward the final team score, all six Gilmour golfers broke 50 and finished within nine strokes of one another.
