Boys Varsity Soccer Falls 3-0 to University School
Gilmour Academy fell 3-0 to University School on Tuesday evening at home, with the visitors’ opening goal proving decisive in the shutout. University School added two more goals to pull away as the Lancers played their fifth match of the season.
University School produced all three goals, building on its initial breakthrough while preventing Gilmour from finding an answer at the other end.
The Lancers continued to compete in the rivalry match, but University School’s defense protected the advantage and completed the clean sheet. With no individual scoring or assist totals available, the final result reflected the visitors’ ability to convert their chances while keeping Gilmour off the scoresheet.
JV Boys Soccer lost 4-0 to University School before the start of the varsity contest.
The Lancers will look to sharpen their play in both penalty areas and create a stronger attacking response as the schedule continues.
