Enzo Marous Leads Gilmour With 77 at NDCL Lion Classic

Enzo Marous carded a team-low 77 to lead Gilmour Boys Varsity Golf team to a score of 325 at the NDCL Lion Classic on Monday, Aug. 17, at Quail Hollow Country Club. The Lancers placed four golfers at 85 or better, building their team total through a balanced set of counting rounds.
Brody Race followed Enzo Marous with an 80, giving Gilmour Academy a second score near the top of its lineup. The three-stroke difference between the Lancers’ two lowest rounds helped establish the foundation for the final team score.
Lorenzo Salvatore added an 83, while Marty Klang completed the scoring group with an 85. Those four rounds combined for the Lancers’ 325 total, with only eight strokes separating the team’s lowest and fourth counting scores. That consistency allowed Gilmour Academy to avoid relying on a single standout round at the event.
Together, the group produced a compact scoring spread and secured the 325 team result at the Lion Classic.
