Gilmour Academy Freshman Basketball Secures Victory Over Cardinal Mooney
In a closely contested regular season basketball showdown on January 25, 2025, the Gilmour Academy Lancers edged out Cardinal Mooney with a final score of 40-35. The Lancers, after a narrow lead at halftime with a score of 17-16, maintained their momentum to clinch the victory. Noah Hillman emerged as a top scorer with 8 points, closely followed by Milan Makovits with 7, and both Liam McCrone and Vinny Konopka contributing 6 points each. Key moments included a big three-pointer by Vinny Konopka right after halftime, setting the tone for the rest of the encounter.
