Gilmour Academy Golf Stars Ryan Panzica and Mason Kaprosy Earn News-Herald Honors

Gilmour Academy's golf team has reason to celebrate as two of their standout athletes, Ryan Panzica and Mason Kaprosy, both from the class of 2026, have received prestigious accolades by the News-Herald. Panzica was named a Second Team All-Star, while Kaprosy earned a spot on the Honor Roll All-Star list. The recognitions come as a result of their exceptional performances over the past season, where Panzica continued to meet high expectations and Kaprosy surprised everyone with his remarkable play. "We are thankful to be noticed by the community for all of the hard work that the team put into this year," said the team's coach, Andy Deehr. "Ryan had been on this ride for a few years with us already, and had some expectations of putting together a good season this year, but Mason came to us and really outperformed any expectations we had going into the season. This is a great honor for these two to be recognized for their hard work." Both athletes have shown great dedication and skill, contributing significantly to the Lancers' successes throughout the season. The Lancers community and fans are undoubtedly proud of their achievements and look forward to seeing what the future holds for these young golfers.
