Lancers Fall 6-0 to Chagrin Falls Despite Five Saves From Kevin Moore
CHAGRIN FALLS, Ohio - Chagrin Falls scored the opening goal and kept Gilmour off the scoreboard in a 6-0 victory over the Lancers on Thursday night. The first goal proved decisive as Chagrin Falls went on to add five more while preserving the shutout.
Gilmour was unable to produce an answering goal after falling behind. Chagrin Falls continued to build its advantage over the course of the match, leaving the Lancers to defend against a growing deficit while searching for a breakthrough at the other end.
Goalkeeper Kevin Moore provided Gilmour’s standout defensive performance with five saves.
The loss moved Gilmour Academy to 4-6 on the season. The Lancers will look to regroup from the result while carrying forward Moore’s five-save effort and focusing on creating a stronger response after conceding the opening goal.
The Boys JV team lost 3-1 to the Tigers. The Lancer goal was scored by Arthur Luz on a penalty kick. Ryan Davis recorded seven saves in goal.
The Lancers will look to get back in the win column on Saturday night against Padua at home.
