Lancers Finish Eighth at Districts as Callie Dennison Leads With 89

AKRON, Ohio - Gilmour Girls Golf finished eighth out of 25 teams with a score of 376 at the OHSAA Division II District Tournament on Tuesday, Oct. 6, in Akron, Ohio, closing the Lancers’ 2026 golf season. Callie Dennison led the team with an 89 and placed 14th in the 73-golfer individual field.
Brooke Leedy and Mae Steigerwald each shot 94, matching one another for the team’s second-lowest round. Their scores contributed 188 strokes to the Lancers’ total and gave the team three counting rounds of 94 or better. Together with Callie Dennison’s 89, those two rounds accounted for 277 strokes before the fourth counting score was added.
Ella Walbert completed the team’s scoring with a 99, bringing the four-round total to 376. The counting scores ranged from 89 to 99, a spread of 10 strokes. Isabella Rosko finished with a 115, which did not count toward the team total. The district tournament marked the final competition of the Lancers’ 2026 season.
