Pattison and Franks Lead Lancers to 7-0 Shutout of Hawken
GATES MILLS, Ohio - Kelsey Pattison and Anni Franks scored two goals apiece as Gilmour defeated Hawken 7-0 on Wednesday, Oct. 14, on the road. The result gave the Lancers their ninth victory of the season. Five players scored for Gilmour, which paired its seven-goal attack with a shutout from goalkeeper Hadley Bashein.
Pattison and Franks supplied four of the Lancers’ seven goals, leading an offense that received contributions from several sources. Kynzie Campbell added a goal and an assist, contributing as both a scorer and a provider. Campbell was one of two Gilmour players to finish with a goal and an assist.
Kaitlyn Gilbert also scored once and assisted on another goal, while Clara King rounded out the scoring with one goal. Beyond the two-goal performances at the top of the scoring list, those three single-goal contributions accounted for the rest of Gilmour’s total against Hawken.
Audrey Hastings, Lily Detzel and Chloe Sbrocco each recorded an assist, giving the Lancers five different players with an assist in the match. Bashein anchored the defensive result in goal, keeping Hawken off the scoreboard as Gilmour finished with a seven-goal margin.
With the Hawken match complete, only the regular-season finale remains before Gilmour closes that portion of its schedule. The Lancers play next at Warren JFK on Monday, Oct. 19.
