Pattison Scores as Gilmour Academy Falls 3-1 in Season Opener
GATES MILLS, Ohio - Girls Varsity Soccer opened the 2026 season with a 3-1 home loss to Brecksville-Broadview Heights on Friday, Aug. 14. The Bees created the decisive separation by scoring three times, while the Lancers were limited to one goal in their first match of the year.
Senior Kelsey Pattison supplied Gilmour’s lone goal in the home opener. Her finish gave the Lancers something to build around offensively, but Brecksville-Broadview Heights maintained its two-goal advantage by the final whistle.
The Lancers will look to rebound as they return home on Monday, August 17 hosting Warren JFK in Weber Stadium at 5:00 p.m.
