Race earns all-tournament team honors as Gilmour places fourth at NEO Classic

Gilmour Boys Varsity Golf posted a four-player total of 310 to finish fourth overall at the NEO Classic on Wednesday, led by an all-tournament performance from Brody Race.
Race shot a team-low 73 and tied for third in the individual standings. His round set the pace for the Lancers and secured his place on the all-tournament team. Race finished two strokes ahead of teammate Enzo Marous, who added a 75 to give Gilmour Academy two of its counting rounds below 80.
Lorenzo Salvatore followed with a 79, providing the Lancers' third counting score. Jack Quinn completed the team total with an 83. Those four rounds combined for Gilmour Academy's final score of 310 and its fourth-place position in the tournament field. Marty Klang also competed for the Lancers and finished with an 88. Although his score did not count toward the four-player team total, his round completed Gilmour Academy's five-player lineup at the event.
Gilmour left the NEO Classic with a top-four team finish and an individual medalist in Race, whose 73 stood as the Lancers' low round of the day.
